The Problem

Building Families for Children needed an end of year donor response card that not only looked professional, but felt cohesive with their broader end-of-year outreach and their existing suite of materials. Previous campaign materials lacked consistency across touchpoints, which diluted the impact of their messaging and weakened brand recognition during a crucial time for fundraising.

The Solution

I designed a new format for the donor response card which aligned seamlessly with a full suite of outreach materials I also created for the organization. This consistency across design and messaging reinforced BFC’s brand identity and helped build trust and recognition among their donor base.

On the front, I featured the verse chosen for the campaign – one that emphasized the need for action. On the back, I organized donor fields with clear hierarchy, balancing visual simplicity with lengthy legally required disclosures. I also sourced emotionally impactful stock imagery for use in the design I created, and wrote compelling campaign copy for an email series.

The enhanced layout, updated visuals, and newsletter campaign led to a smoother donor experience and helped the organization see higher engagement and increased donations compared to previous years.
