Building Families for Children – “Ways to Serve” Card

Layout Design

The Problem

BFC needed a consistent, recognizable way to invite people into deeper engagement – whether as volunteers, donors, or foster parents. They needed a handout that could be shared at events and church gatherings, making it easy for people to see how they could get involved.

The Solution

As part of a cohesive system of branded giveaway cards, I designed the Ways to Serve card to match the look and feel of BFC’s other outreach materials – helping build instant visual recognition among supporters. The front features a bold, swappable photo alongside the organization’s mission, vision, and contact info. On the back, I laid out a clear menu of next steps – from volunteering and fostering to giving financially – making it easy for people to find their best-fit way to serve. The card’s compact size, thoughtful layout, and strong visual identity made it a powerful tool at in-person events and church recruitment efforts, reinforcing the brand while expanding the community.
