The Light Club

A new EDM club with a rotating lineup of resident DJs every Friday needed one standout promo card. On a tight budget, they wanted a design that captured the club’s energy and got noticed at record shops, diners, and other spots where their crowd gathered.

Instead of leaning on tired clichés like dancing crowds, I focused on creating a vibe that captured the essence of light and movement itself. I started with shutter-drag photography of Albuquerque streets taken from the foothills overlooking the city, then layered and manipulated the images in Photoshop to amplify that ethereal energy and tease a visual reverb. The result is a bold, immersive flyer that stands apart from the sea of predictable promos.
